MZ Account Security
MZ Account employs multiple layers of security to protect your personal information and account credentials. All data transmitted between your browser and mzaccount.org is encrypted using TLS (Transport Layer Security) to prevent interception. Passwords are stored using industry-standard hashing algorithms, ensuring they are never exposed even in the unlikely event of a data breach.

MZ Account includes real-time login alerts that notify you via email whenever a new sign-in is detected from an unrecognised device or location. This allows you to immediately identify and respond to any unauthorised access attempts. You can also manually lock out specific devices directly from your security dashboard.
We continuously monitor for suspicious activity and proactively notify you of any potential threats to your MZ Account.
Account lockout protections are enforced automatically: after three failed login attempts, your account is temporarily locked for 60 minutes to prevent brute-force attacks. Only you or an administrator can unlock the account before the waiting period ends. These protections run silently in the background to keep your account safe.

For the highest level of protection, we recommend enabling two-factor authentication, using a unique strong password, and regularly reviewing your active sessions and login history. MZ Account security features are designed to give you complete peace of mind when using our platform at mzaccount.org.
